Global Apparel Network (GAN) is the company behind Visuality, a market-leading collaborative software solution that is widely used in the fashion industry.

GAN is a fast growing organisation, with offices around the globe. The employees are based in offices in the UK, Holland, Germany, France and the United States.

Such a distributed workforce has created obvious challenges and paper-based processing of expenses was one headache they could do without.

Ioannis Tsamitros, the Senior Accountant at GAN, explains:

An added benefit for GAN is the multi-currency functionality that allows separate configurations, each with a different base currency, to be set up under a single umbrella configuration.

"This is ideal for us, as we run a separate set of accounts for some of our offices. The system gives us the flexibility to do this, and in the US, we outsource our accounting, so it’s ideal to have expenses sent electronically to our outside accountant."
