Myriad underwent a merger early on in the company’s history, which has resulted in significant growth, both in size and reach. At the time that the WebExpenses system was first introduced, the number of Myriad’s employees was approximately 50. Now that figure totals over 600 and the company’s work extends Europe-wide as well as across China.

As Myriad expanded, the WebExpenses software accommodated this growth, effectively involving a global rollout of the system to Myriad’s increased territory.

How WebExpenses works for Myriad Group

As a small to medium company with a worldwide reach, one of the biggest advantages for Myriad is that the WebExpenses system manages multi-currency transactions. Because it’s web-based, the system is totally accessible wherever its employees are and can be rolled out easily as it was for Myriad - even on a global scale.

Prior to the introduction of the WebExpenses software, there was no expenses system in place at Myriad, other than a basic use of Excel whereby data was inputted manually. Since the implementation of the WebExpenses system, considerable manpower has been freed up, resulting in an undeniable time and cost saving to the company.

I was given the task of sourcing and implementing a new expenses system. One of my colleagues had used the WebExpenses software in his previous employment and recommended it to me. WebExpenses created a bespoke tool tailored to meet our requirements and since its introduction I haven’t needed to be involved further because it pretty much takes care of itself.

One of the biggest plus points for us, as a worldwide organisation, is the multi-currency feature. It’s also an extremely scaleable tool; it doesn’t really matter how small or large your company is, WebExpenses works with you.

The WebExpenses system has been a real success for us and has done all we expected it to do. The fact that the WebExpenses software was in place has allowed our company to grow.
