We’re now one week into our global client event – webexpenses connect – which is a virtual event designed around our global client base.
In the first week since the ‘virtual doors’ opened on Monday 19th November, the event has seen hundreds of webexpenses clients worldwide register and access the on-demand training sessions and masterclasses.
The full ‘virtual’ conference experience
Upon entering, all visitors are able to receive a full ‘conference experience’ from the comfort of their own desk, and are first welcomed with a keynote video talk by webexpenses’ CEO Adam Reynolds. It’s a time to hear about webexpenses’ latest product updates and some exciting major plans for 2019.
Virtual connect has 15 training sessions and masterclasses that are available on-demand – ranging from webinars, podcasts, videos and Q&As.
Through the sessions, visitors can learn about new and exciting product developments on the horizon, as well as our upcoming new solutions for other areas within the wider finance function.

There’s also some very popular training sessions around key areas of our system – delivered by our in-house webexpenses team, and designed to help Admin users brush up on their knowledge, and get the very best out of webexpenses.
The most popular sessions so far are ‘Five features you may not know about’, ‘Achieving the best admin set-up’, and ‘UK mileage versions and best practice’.
Exhibition and competition
Visitors can also connect with some of our partners – Taxback International, CIPHR, Solutions for Accounting, and webonboarding – and take a virtual stroll around the exhibition hall to hear about some of their services.
And finally, no event is complete without a fun competition as webexpenses clients compete to win this season’s desirable tech hamper – loaded full of tech goodies and gadgets!

Since the event went live, there have been nearly 4,000 visits and this is set to continue over the next three weeks with more new sessions available on-demand this week.
