Expenses software for a worldwide sales force
The vast majority of Systagenix’s company expenses are generated by its sales and marketing teams, which provide support in over 100 countries worldwide. This group of employees incurs the whole spectrum of costs including travel, accommodation, subsistence and entertainment.
Previously, time spent calculating expenses was effectively time wasted for this busy and driven sales force, who would rather be out on the road selling rather than tied to their desks doing admin.
How webexpenses helped
WebExpenses developed a bespoke report for Systagenix, which was rolled out across Europe. The benefits of a web-based system have been manifold for the company, allowing employees to process their expenses wherever they are in the world. The currency conversion and foreign language translation features have also been invaluable, removing any barriers to usage.
Systagenix has recently trialed the webexpenses credit card interface in Austria, one of its smaller territories. This feature reduces processing costs and improves data quality by pre-populating expenses with corporate credit card data. The trial has proven to be a resounding success and Systagenix plans to roll out the feature to the rest of its offices worldwide from January 2011.
