Webexpenses has been ranked number one in the G2 Results Index for Expense Management, Fall 2026. Out of 27 products in the category, we sit at the top. And it places us in the top 96.3% of every vendor G2 tracks.
No caveats, no fine print. Number one, full stop. This article could end here – but we’ll keep going.
That headline result sits alongside a strong haul generally. In the UK/EU, a few highlights are:
- Regional Leader UK
- Regional Leader EMEA
- Momentum Leader
- Enterprise High Performer.
In Australia and New Zealand, we’ve been named ANZ Regional Leader, Asia Pacific High Performer and we got the Users Love Us milestone (which is super meaningful to us, since customer service is something we place a lot of emphasis on).
What is a G2 Grid Report (and why should I care)?
Before we dive a bit deeper into our accolades, it’s worth reflecting on what a G2 Grid Report actually is.
This isn’t us patting ourselves on the back. The report is built from just two inputs:
- Customer satisfaction, taken entirely from verified user reviews.
- Market presence, which reflects company size, review volume and reach.
G2 does not accept vendor self-reporting or paid placement in these scores (we obviously rate ourselves 11/10, but that’s beside the point). When we say we’re a leader, that verdict comes from finance teams who use Webexpenses every day.
Here’s what each badge means, and why it matters if you’re weighing up expense software right now.
G2 expense management leader
G2’s Results Index is a straight ranking of every product in a category, ordered by verified user satisfaction, with no quadrants or tiers to complicate the picture.
For Fall 2026, Webexpenses ranks number one in the G2 Results Index for Expense Management, out of 27 products, putting us in the top 96.3% of the entire category.
We like this badge because there’s no ambiguity in it. Other awards involve quadrants, tiers and category splits, each with its own asterisk.
This one just says: out of every expense management product G2 tracks, ours is rated highest by the people who use it.
Number one, full stop.
What we’ve won in the UK
Four badges stand out from the UK/EMEA results:
- Regional Leader UK recognises strong performance among UK-based reviewers specifically.
- Regional Leader EMEA extends that recognition across the wider EMEA region (where Webexpenses ranks ninth out of 39 products and moved up a spot on last quarter).
- Our Satisfaction Score of 71 sits well above the category average of 49, a gap of 22 points, or 45% higher than the field.
- Momentum Leader status is awarded to products in the top 25% of their category by user-reported momentum, covering things like review growth and employee headcount changes.
- Enterprise High Performer recognises high customer satisfaction paired with a lower market presence score relative to bigger-budget competitors, essentially saying the product outperforms its size.
All together, these badges tell a consistent story: finance teams rate our platform highly, and that rating is growing, not just holding steady.
What we’ve won in Australia and New Zealand
Of course, we’re not just a UK/EMEA operator. We have our amazing teams in APAC, too. And for the first time, I’m proud to say that their work is recognised by G2 as well:
- ANZ Regional Leader puts Webexpenses among the top-rated expense management platforms for the region, based on the same satisfaction and presence criteria used everywhere else on G2.
- APAC High Performer status recognises the same high-satisfaction, lower-market-presence combination seen in the UK, this time measured against the broader Asia Pacific field.
- Users Love Us is a milestone badge rather than a grid position. G2 awards it once a product collects at least 20 reviews with an average rating of 4.0 stars or higher. It’s a simpler badge than the others, but it’s arguably the most direct: it just means a meaningful number of real users rate us highly.
What this means if you’re evaluating expense software
If you’re currently shortlisting expense management tools, G2 badges give you something a vendor’s own website can’t: an independent, review-based signal.
The reviews behind these particular badges cover everything from how quickly a business goes live (ahem, we’re number one here in our category), to how the platform handles receipt capture on a phone in the field.
Also worth checking as you compare options: how a vendor’s pricing model actually works day to day. We wrote a full breakdown of per seat versus per user versus usage-based pricing.
If invoice processing and accounts payable are part of your evaluation too, that’s something we excel at as well.
Why people choose us
Winning badges is one thing. What actually earns them, quarter after quarter, is a platform built around a few specific things finance teams consistently ask for.
Implementation speed is one. Businesses moving off spreadsheets or a legacy system tend to worry that a new platform means months of setup.
In practice, most Webexpenses customers are live within weeks. If you’re still tracking expenses manually, our piece on the signs your business has outgrown spreadsheets covers the point at which that switch usually becomes worth making.
Mobile functionality is another. Receipt capture, mileage tracking and expense submission all work from a phone, which matters for anyone who travels for work rather than sitting at a desk all day.
For businesses that also process invoices, our accounts payable partnerships (Compleat in the UK, Zudello in the Asia Pacific region) mean you can manage both expenses and invoices without stitching together separate tools.
What this all means
None of this is unique to Webexpenses on its own. What the G2 results reflect is that customers rate the combination highly, and rate the support behind it just as highly. You can see the detail behind that in our case studies, which cover how businesses like RyanAir and Big Red Group actually use the platform day to day.
We’ve now held leader or high performer status across multiple consecutive G2 reports, including our Spring 2026 results. That consistency isn’t an accident. It comes from a platform that keeps improving and a customer base that keeps telling G2 it works.
