Why Digital Transformation Is Key For CFOs

Business travel recovery demands data-led budgeting

In the Future CFO, published December 2022, Webexpenses discuss how digital transformation plays an important part in helping finance professionals manage and report on business spend effectively.

Webexpenses’ users have recorded 82 million business miles in 2022 to date; resulting in a 58% increase in comparison to 2019.

This means that CFOs will need to rethink how they track business mileage to help save costs and improve efficiency for both finance teams and their employees travelling for business. Some of the key points highlighted in the advertorial include:

  • CFOs need to be agile and adapt to technology
  • Technology gives employees a tool to help them focus on important tasks
  • Face-to-face interactions beat video calls for in-depth conversations
